1. What's with the 911 operator's combative attitude?

there is a huge difference in passed out due to illness and passed out due to alcohol. the police need to know that going in. you think that sick person gets up and runs like that? or has the potential to attack?

2. Why does it take 8 minutes for a "mobile rescue squad" to get outside the hospital doors? And how was that supposed to be better than just walking or wheeling her into the ER?

no answer for the time other than maybe an ambulance was 8 minutes away. as for the not walking her in the door, you ever walked into an ER? you are not guaranteed to be seen right away. you roll in on an ambulance or with medical personnel and you will be seen immediately. that was the officer's concern it appears

3. How did the UPD get away with not turning over the body cam video for so long?

i don't know all the court procedural stuff here so i cannot answer this one. my guess is that is not uncommon

4. THAT is what counts for felony assault and battery these days?

any unwanted contact with an officer is assault. if you don't know that, you best avoid any situations with cops. you do not touch or spit on cops. doesn't matter how you feel about that, that is the rule.
